It has been an established business in Cala Millor for several years and is very well known.

The past owners specialized in Chicken & Chips. The current owners have kept the chickens but dropped the french fries. They also added numerous salads, vegetables, other main dishes, quiches, and just lately huge sandwiches. They are catering as well.

Their track record is not proven as the business has only been re-opened since February. It has however grown every month in sales and interest in the new products. There is profit to be made.

Our location is on the main street in Cala Millor. There is an attractive storefront with a small terrace in front. It is licensed as a "comida para llevar" and as such there are no tables nor service. Whether or not a couple of tables could be placed outside is unknown. The locale comprises 120 square meters.

The majority is a large fully equipped modern kitchen. It was built to make English pies by a company which succeeded here so well that they are now a wholesaler of said pies all over Spain with headquarters in Majorca. all equipment was purchased new less than three years ago.

There is also a front reception area which displays the products in two modern vitrinas. It is bright and airy with a pleasant homey atmosphere. There is a large area for warehousing goods and an office too.

There is another separate storage area behind that. This location would be ideal for what is now in place, or a fish and chips takeaway, food factory, pizza para llevar or many other enterprises.

The hours are listed as 1030 - 1500 and 1830 - 2100 Tuesday through Saturday, and 1000 - 1600 on Sunday. Closed Mondays. The take away business was chosen so as not to work the long late hours of a restaurant. However if someone else chose to; there could be a booming late night business in pollos asados and especially sandwiches for the people returning from a hard night of drinking. There are several hotels and apartment hotels inland of where we are with a good walking trade.

Cala Millor was chosen because the current owners were impressed with the life that was there in the winter. Certainly a summer resort, there is still more going on there in the winter than in most other resorts on the island.
